- Main Location. Our Car Rental company is based in Santorini Greece.
- Head office. Our main office is located in Perissa but our main activity is to rent cars at Santorini Port Athinios and Santorini airport (JTR) .
- Parking facilities : We have our own parking facilities at Santorini airport and also at the South part of Santorini. Our parking facility at the airport can be found in google maps here: https://g.co/kgs/hA1VUVK This is where we deliver our cars for our clients that arrive at the airport, and this is where you have to return your car if you are taking a plane out of Santorini. The area is monitored 24/7 by security cameras that provide both image and sound.
- Official company name : The companys official name is Dimoglou F G SA with the name Santorini Easy Rental Cars officially registered as F. Dimoglou companys property . Any other companies or individuals using similar names with a purpose to create false impressions will face legal measures. The name : Santorini Easy Travel also belongs to the same company and is registered as companys property as well.
- Who owns the company : The company is owned by Dimoglou family, who lives in Santorini island.
- Manager : The manager of the company is Dimoglou Jiorgos. You can contact the manager by sending an email with the note: ( attention Manager ) or call our office daily between 17:00 and 20:00
- Santorini Easy Rent a Car first steps : The rental car company started on 1998 and is operating non stop ever since.
- Ways of Payment: We are very easy in this matter as our clients can pay in cash, any credit or debit card, by Revolut as well as PayPal and bank transfers. ( Would you like to suggest a payment way that is not available? please contact us so we can maybe add it as a payment solution )
- Damage Waiver ) insurance is available as an option for all vehicles. C.D.W insurance reduces clients liability in case of damage, to the amount of the excess. The daily rate of the C.D.W is clearly mentioned during the reservation process, and it depends on the car type / model. Children Seats
First 2 Child seats are free of charge. If more than 2 child seats are required, a small daily fee is applied (5 euro / day VAT included).
Fuel
Fuel is NOT included in the prices. The fuel policy is Pick-up / Drop-off Fuel level > same to same.
Driver's age
Rates refer to drivers between 23 and 70 years old. Drivers that are 21 or 22 and drivers between 71 and 75 years old, can still rent a car, but with an additional insurance fee which is usually 10 euro per day of rental. The extra fee can be reduced or even erased for long rental periods. The driver’s license must be valid for at least TWO years.
Credit card
Renter’s credit card or debit card is obligatory / required for guarantee reasons. ( please note that in most cases as indicated in our website, a security deposit will not be blocked on drivers card ) When a debit card is required is mainly for identification purposes rather than guarantee purposes. Also for those clients that do not have even a debit card we can find a solution, only for economy type of cars . In that case please contact for details.
Car delivery–collection
Free car delivery–collection, Santorini Airport and Hotels/Residence anywhere at Santorini (except in the area of Oia), during office hours 08:00 – 22:30. For deliveries between 23:00 and 07:00 an extra charge may apply. If an extra charge applies, that can be seen during the booking process.
Road Assistance
24-hours Road Assistance and 24-hours Help line included.
Traffic regulations
Driver must follow traffic regulations. A violation ( for example drink and drive ) will cancel any insurance covers in case of an incident.
Parking tickets
Driver is reliable to pay any parking tickets issued for the rental car during the rental period.
Taking the rental car on a ferry
Taking the rental car on a ferry is prohibited. It is allowed only after a written permit from the manager of the rental company and an at least 10 days notice in order to issue the extra insurance required .
